Photography Workshops

In 2018, I organized my first solo workshop/ photo tour, after years of planning. Although I plan on expanding my offerings eventually, I currently only operate one workshop- to Acadia National Park in Maine. I’ve been visiting Acadia regularly since 2006 and know the park intimately; I’ve written The Photographer’s Guide to Acadia, as well as the coffee table photography book, Under October Skies.

The 2024 Images of Acadia photography workshop will be a small-group workshop where I'll take you to many of the top places in Acadia National Park, as well as locations off the beaten track, and give you one-on-one instruction in landscape photography. Each day will be filled with photography– from sunrise to sunset and beyond. There isn’t a lot of strenuous hiking or climbing involved but a reasonable level of fitness is required. You should be comfortable climbing over rocks and boulders along the coast, and be able to hike up into the hills without any trouble. The 2024 workshop will be from 15-20 October.
