New Gallery- the French Market
I have so many new images to show… but so little time to bring them to the public. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a few minutes to spare, but today, I’m rolling out a new gallery. Every Saturday for almost six months, my wife and I walk down to the local French market, not so much to buy anything, but just to soak up the atmosphere and meld with the crowds.
I always feel a little bit intrusive, taking pictures of vendors’ food. But I can’t take my artistic eyes off the incredible variety of colors, shapes and graphic designs in the spread of produce. I began by just taking a few quick snapshots with my phone, but since then, I’ve returned with my larger cameras to create art with the fruits and vegetables. Enjoy… more to come.
