Landscape Photography Gallery
The American landscape has inspired artists for hundreds of years. Landscape photographers like Ansel Adams were early inspirations for me. It can be hard work though; there are so many photographers working in the American West that I find it hard to be original. While I’ve concentrated more in the American Northeast, these are a few images that I’ve made on trips across America; some very familiar (Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons), while others are unknown to many (Phillips County, Kansas and central Illinois). But although some images might seem very familiar, that doesn’t take away from the awe-inspiring beauty that can be found in most of the natural areas throughout the country.
