British Consul General’s Residence

In April 2010, I installed thirteen prints in the residence of the British Consul-General in downtown Chicago. These range in size from 20x24 inches to 36x48, as well as panoramas up to 16x48 inches. The prints had their debut on the British Election Night, May 6, where one hundred fifty dignitaries and guests watched the results trickle in from the 60th floor penthouse suite.

The prints selected to hang on the walls were chosen for their vibrant colors and large sizes, as well as to highlight some of the beauty found in various locations around the British Isles. The Consul-General's residence is used by the British government to promote the interests of Britons in the United States, as well as to promote business and tourism in Great Britain. The residence sees many government figures, celebrities and business interests each year during dozens of official functions.
